About the role
Are you a people-focused leader with a passion for strategy and development? As HR Manager, you are responsible for the overall HR strategy and operations of our resort and report directly to the General Manager. With your expertise, you ensure we attract, develop, and retain the right talent while fostering an engaging and professional work culture.

What you will do
• Lead the HR department and oversee all HR operations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate HR policies and processes.
• Advise the General Manager and leadership team on HR strategies and workforce planning.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and talent management for both international and local employees.
• Prepare and manage contracts, employment terms, and personnel administration.
• Coordinate training, development, and performance management programs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Initiate HR projects that enhance engagement and strengthen company culture.
• Coach and support managers in people management.

Your profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
• Senior experience leading an HR department, preferably in hospitality or large-scale operations.
• Strong expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Skilled in managing large and diverse teams.
• Experienced in international and multicultural work environments.
• Strong knowledge of the local labor market is a plus.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality.
• Fluent in Dutch (required); Papiamentu is a plus; English at a professional level.
