About the role
Are you a finance professional with a passion for precision and strategy? As Financial Controller, you lead our finance department and ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance across all financial operations. With your expertise, you safeguard the financial health and support the leadership team in making sound business decisions.

What you will do

• Lead the finance team and oversee daily financial operations.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and policies.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with department heads to support strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in processes, cost efficiency, and reporting.
• Coach and develop the finance team.
  
  

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA/RA is a plus).
• Senior experience as Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role, preferably in hospitality or large-scale operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Familiar with IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations.
• Hands-on leader with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communicator with a business partner mindset.
• Strategic thinker who can also work in detail.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or Papiamentu is a plus.
